South of Houston, Texas - This was a strange event that we attended after hearing about it on TV.  The dogs were walked to the starting box and some actually raced!  Several of them just wandered around in circles for a while.  Others raced after their owners to the finish line.  We visited the dogs afterward.  There were several short haired dapples and a single long hair.
